Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, required

?Ability to define, coordinate and implement mechanical piping designs.

Required: Understand Crane Companion Pipe Sizing Calculations, Pipe Support Design, Routing, Valve & Pump Sizing & Selection,

Steam & Condensate Systems, Compressed Air, Fire Protection Systems, Nat. Gas Piping, Sanitary Sewer System Design.

Desired: Five (5+) years experience in industrial process piping,Pipe Stress Analysis experience.

?Ability to identify, analyze and solve process-engineering problems using industry standards and engineering calculations.

Required: Experience in designing and specifying process tanks and vessels, heat exchanger sizing & specifications, Develop PFD and P&ID Diagrams, Size & specify Boilers and Cooling Towers.

?Understanding of IMC, UMC, Plumbing and ASME codes.

Desired: Understanding of EPA air emission and water discharge regulations, process bottleneck analysis, Equipment and building cost estimating.

?Significant knowledge of industrial plant operations to include all Food Plant GMP Sanitation, OSHA Safety and Regulatory Code aspects associated with engineering design.

?Experienced in designing industrial HVAC systems using ASHRAE and SMACNA guidelines.

Required: Experienced in design of industrial ventilation, heating and air-conditioning systems.

Desired: HEPA and clean room design and experience in designing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.

?Experienced in sizing and specifying material handling equipment.

Required: Knowledge of sourcing and specifying industrial material handling equipment.

Desired: Knowledge in application of belt conveyors, screw conveyors, high volume L path, pneumatic conveyor systems, grinders and shredders

?Perform take-offs, cost estimates and field measurements.

?Self Starter requiring minimal supervision

?Demonstrated capability of preparing sketches, understanding drawings. Have the ability to perform field sketches to accurately convey critical dimensions, landmarks, tie points and equipment details to enable designer to later include in design drawings.

?Ability to work closely with vendors, drafting and support staff as a team. Give friendly, clear, concise direction to designers and office support staff. Coordinate design efforts with other disciplines

?Required: Communications: Language fluency in English both written and verbal.
